Here are some top tips on how to navigate around the page...

  • Find an area of the curriculum such as English
  • Click on the download document underneath the planning
  • Open up the planning there you will find a day by day/step by step guide on on how and what you are teaching your child
  • Please note at the bottom of the plans there are links to video/games and resources to aid you

Reading

Reading is a vital part of your child's learning. Taking the time to sit and read with your child is the most beneficial way of getting your child to read. Below is a table that you could use to encourage your child to use vocab, predict, explain and retrieve information. Choose an area you would like to work on for the week example vocabulary. Work through the example questions linked to any of the books that have been sent home. If you run out of books underneath the table there are a range of links you can use to find a suitable book for your child. As always if you have any questions please contact your child's class teacher.
