Summer 1 - Week 3 - W/B 1/5/2023

This week we have been learning all things royal to get ready for our coronation party on Friday. We've made crowns, flags and decorations as well as read lots of stories about the Royal Family and parties. 

Summer 1 - Week 2 - W/B 24/4/2023

On Monday we celebrated St George's Day! There were lots of lovely activities to do including shield making and biscuit designing. In P.E. we practised our balancing, spatial awareness and throwing skills. The minibeast of the week was the spider! We made a giant spider's web and played 'the spider and the fly' game. On Friday, Miss Moffitt brought in some minibeasts for us to observe. These included: crickets, mealworms and grasshoppers. 

Summer 1 - Week 1 - W/B 17/4/2023

After a wonderful Easter holiday we were so excited to start our new topic of 'Minibeasts'! This week we have been learning all about bees. Ask you child about the facts that they have learnt. We were so happy to see Mr Marshal again for P.E. and have been learning and developing our team games. On Friday we celebrated Earth Day! We drew pictures of daffodils which are growing in our big playground and made 'Dirt in a Cup' in Phunky Foods.
